Sanderson Weir have developed a new product, HOUSEIT, to handle simple and straight forward ‘purchase’ and ‘sale’ transactions.

Like Switchme, Sanderson Weir has designed Houseit to allow the client to benefit from the convenience of not being required to make an appointment to visit their solicitor.

Houseit enables the client to engage the services of Sanderson Weir, via an intermediary, to assist the purchase and/or sale process by completing the paperwork; from title checks, document generation through to settlement, including the necessary electronic registration on the Title.

Clients will benefit from the convenience of being able to sign the documentation in their own home at their leisure, and without all parties to the loan having to take time out of their day to visit a solicitor in person.

Houseit: training and accreditation

Every mortgage professional wishing to offer their clients this service needs to be fully trained and accredited and considered a ‘trusted source’ to Sanderson Weir. This can be obtained through the completion of a computer based training module which can be accessed by clicking on the link below, or by arranging a training session with Sanderson Weir.

The Houseit training fee is $60 (including GST), which you will be prompted to pay when accessing the on-line training module. This $60 fee will be reimbursed by Sanderson Weir after the settlement of your first transaction. Please note that the Accreditation will not be complete until this payment has been made.

Already Switchme accredited?

If you have already completed the Switchme accreditation, you will be considered a ‘trusted source’ to Sanderson Weir, essential for verifying the identity of the property owners.

Therefore, you will not be required to complete the training again, however, it may be beneficial to review the updated training which included information about the Houseit process and eligibility criteria.
